Today schools are celebrating School Support Staff Day across the ACT to acknowledge the many support staff that help with all facets of the running of our school: LSA's, Library support, Food Tech, Technology and Science support, Janitors, IT, Front Office, Business Managers and Administration. All of these people work hard to help make our school a better place for students and a great workplace for teachers.
At UCHSK, our support staff build good relationships with the students and staff, and are a very important part of our school community. This morning the Executive Team and UCHSK Board Chair Michael Hicks held a morning tea for support staff and showed their appreciation with many kind words . The UCHSK support staff are a great team, and it is wonderful to recognise them as one of the strengths of the school!
