Soldier On Sausage Sizzle

Ella Frampton, in Year 8, took it upon herself to organise a fundraising day to raise money for Soldier On, an organisation whose mission is to support our returned service-men and women reintegrate and recover once they come back from duty.


Casual dress day was clearly popular amongst the students, and the sausage sizzle had a satisfyingly long line helped by the sun disappearing behind clouds right before lunch started.

Ella's goal was to raise $600, which would provide the services of three psychologists, a fundamentally important part of the organisation. After all the hard work she has done organising, advertising, collecting and cooking, Ella looks to have a long night ahead of her counting the coins - but you can't keep a good kid down!
