The project is structured around six online interactive
modules aimed at helping students understand where the water they use every day
comes from, how it is used, and where it goes. The modules follow the continuum
of the "urban water cycle" and require students to collate local
information on sourcing and treating water, through to using it in our
day-to-day lives, and finally managing its disposal back into the natural
environment.
Our Year 7 and 8 students are participating and working with their US sister school to gain an understanding of how another country uses its water, treats it and conserves it. The students also get an insight into what schooling is like in America.
