Order of Australia

We're a little bit pleased to be featured on Virginia Hausegger's FB page today, following her visit to UCHSK yesterday for the Order of Australia Association function we were privileged to host here.

UCHSK students hosted 28 OAM members at the event which saw UCHSK Dance elective students performing, along with the Instrumental Music Program's Senior Jazz Band, and the IMP Years 4 to 6 Choir. 

A morning tea followed in the Library, giving students an informal opportunity to chat with the OAM members.  OAA ACT Branch Chair, Trish Keller (OAM) was also, until recently, Principal at Giralang Primary and supporting OAA mentoring opportunities within ACT schools is very close to her heart.

We've had wonderful feedback from the event, both from the guests and the students; it was a great pleasure to be involved.
