Student Principal for a Day

Meet Principal Pooley - she's our Student Principal for the Day and will be giving Mr D a run for his money!
Today she will be attending (appropriate) meetings, doing teacher evaluation, learning what all staff do at the school and about the running of the school.

Principal Pooley is generally very happy with how our school operates; she feels that the small school size is a huge benefit, allowing and encouraging all students an opportunity to shine in their own individual way and she particularly likes how friendly we all are with each other: that staff know all the students and will say 'Hello' and chat even if they don't teach them, which is something she hadn't experienced in previous, larger school environments.

Principal Pooley will be putting forward an agenda during her feedback report this afternoon and has already flagged the importance of Student Google Doc classes to be run in PC and Literacy as well as whether Mr Issa should wear a tie or not.

Ms Pooley clearly has her finger squarely on the pulse; this may just be the first step in a very inevitable course!
